PEACE PROGRAMS
Manos Unidas
Local women attend weekly workshops to learn how to make different handicrafts, which are bought by PEACE and other wholesale
clients to be sold to the tourist market.
The women work in teams and make an income working from home.
Bi-monthly workshops given by a psychologist are offered to the women.
The topics are focused around themes such as self-esteem, parenting and nutrition.
PEACE sells the women’s products through kiosks and small stores in the area and through the online
webstore.
Mission

Where we have worked
